Job description:
Senior Ruby/Elixir Backend Engineer.

Key accountabilities:
- Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby/Elixir code;
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications;
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems;
- Be involved in all stages of building products from inception, through delivery, and beyond.

Position requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in Elixir or Ruby development;
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL;
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming;
• Understanding of functional programming style in Ruby;
• Experience developing complex web applications/APIs in distributed architectures;
• Fluent English.

Additional and ad-hoc duties:
• Familiarity with continuous integration;
• Familiarity with development aiding tools;
• Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes;
• Experience with distributed architectures, message queues, and RPCs;
• Experience with AWS, K8s, Kafka, gRPC, RabbitMQ, Redis.
