Job Description

DeployHQ is seeking a Developer (Rails & React) to join our growing team. This role is a blend of development and light customer support, offering an opportunity to gain real-world SaaS experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain features using Ruby on Rails and React
• Handle customer support tickets (up to 2 hours per day)
• Work on both frontend and backend development tasks
• Collaborate with the development team on various projects
• Participate in code reviews and team discussions
• Debug and fix issues across the application stack
• Utilize Git and GitHub for version control

Tech Stack

• Backend: Ruby on Rails
• Frontend: React, JavaScript
• Version Control: Git, GitHub
• Databases: MySQL (preferred)
• Infrastructure: AWS, Linux, Ubuntu, CI/CD technologies
  
  Requirements
• 1-3 years of development experience
• Hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails
• Experience with React and modern JavaScript
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Familiarity with Git for version control
• Strong English communication skills
• A problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn
• Experience with MySQL or similar databases
• Basic Linux/Ubuntu knowledge or Bash scripting
• Previous experience in customer support
• Understanding of deployment processes
• Familiarity with AWS or similar cloud platforms
• Understanding of CI/CD technologies
