Job Description:

We are looking for a Ruby Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and databases.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with frontend engineers to deliver end-to-end features

- Support data scientists in implementing data processing models

- Ensure security best practices, including data encryption and authentication/authorization

- Maintain and enhance AWS infrastructure using Terraform

- Participate in code reviews, ensuring high standards and maintainability

- Debug production issues across multiple layers of the stack

- Improve engineering processes, tooling, and deployment pipelines

Technology Stack:

Java (Spring, Hibernate), C# (.Net), Ruby (Ruby on Rails), Python, Golang, JavaScript and its frameworks (React, Angular, Node, Vue, Next, Nest), AQA (JavaScript and Java), DevOps (Docker, AWS, Kubernetes), etc.

Position Requirements:

- Proficiency in backend development using Ruby

- Strong cloud infrastructure experience with AWS

- Experience with MySQL including database design and optimisation

- Hands-on experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)

- Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs

- Understanding of security and compliance practices in audited environments

- English proficiency at B2 level or higher

Soft Skills Requirements:

- Ability to work independently while being a team player

- Experience working within a mature engineering culture

- Comfortable operating in a matrix management structure

- Strong problem-solving skills and a user-focused mindset
