Job Description:

We are looking for a Ruby on Rails Escalation Engineer who will take ownership of escalated codebase issues, troubleshoot bugs, apply fixes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities:

- Investigate and resolve bugs and issues in the main Ruby on Rails product;

- Own escalated tickets from analysis to resolution;

- Collaborate with Support, Onboarding, and Product teams;

- Apply small fixes or escalate to the development team when needed;

- Support and maintain several internal Rails tools.

Our Stack:

Ruby, Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Git, Linux, REST APIs, Sidekiq, CI/CD. Knowledge of SIP, RTP, or VoIP/contact center tools is a plus.

Position Requirements:

- 1+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails;

- Confident using Git, Linux, logs, and SQL (PostgreSQL);

- Familiar with REST APIs, background jobs (e.g., Sidekiq), and CI/CD;

- Basic understanding of networking and protocols.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Background in VoIP or contact center technologies;

- Familiarity with SIP, RTP, or relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA).
