Salary Range:
5500 – 7000 € per month gross
+ regular salary revaluation

Job Description:
We’re looking for a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to join our agile engineering team and help shape the future of travel and tourism technology. You’ll be a part of a small, focused development team within a larger engineering organization, working on key product components that directly affect our customers worldwide.
The position is open to remote candidates based in Europe. Office access is available in Brno and Lisbon.
Responsibilities:
- Optimize and refactor our main admin interface (‘Dashboard’)
- Integrate new payment processing methods
- Design and implement new product features based on the roadmap
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Ruby code
- Manage database logic and work with external services
- Integrate front-end elements with server-side logic
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs
- Maintain code quality and perform code reviews
- Ensure system performance and scalability
- Contribute to team knowledge sharing and best practices

Position Requirements:
- Strong experience in backend engineering with Ruby on Rails
- Expert knowledge of PostgreSQL
- Advanced experience with Google Cloud
- Intermediate level of spoken and written English
- Fast learner, flexible to changes, and thrives in a dynamic startup environment
- Ability to work independently and with distributed teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on ticketing systems or similar platforms
- Familiarity with Hotwire, Turbo, Stimulus
- Strong code review and debugging skills
