Lago is hiring a Head of Engineering to lead and scale its engineering organization through the next stage of growth. You’ll architect systems for scale, build a high-performing team, and embed reliability and ownership into how we operate. This role combines technical depth and organizational leadership - designing architecture, scaling delivery, and creating a culture where engineers do the best work of their careers.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Build and scale a world-class engineering org (~20 FTEs today, +50–100% in 12 months).
• Hire, mentor, and grow top engineering talent.
• Drive predictable, high-velocity delivery and continuous improvement.
• Architect systems for scale, reliability, and performance.
• Oversee infrastructure, monitoring, and incident response.
• Shape Lago’s long-term technical strategy with founders and product leads.
• Foster a culture of clarity, feedback, and high agency.
