Job Description:
Nearform is seeking a Senior JavaScript Software Engineer to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time, remote position based in the UK. The Senior JavaScript Software Engineer will be responsible for designing and constructing applications, ensuring technical quality, and collaborating with client teams on major enterprise projects.
Responsibilities:
- Design and construct applications using JavaScript
- Oversee component design, development, and maintenance with accountability for technical quality standards
- Define structured source code management, building, and deployment practices
- Create and deploy data storage architectures
- Enhance application performance for speed and scalability
- Gather user and client feedback to inform solution design
- Analyze client requirements collaboratively
- Support Technical Leaders in project execution and timely completion
- Work alongside client teams on major enterprise projects
Position Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years commercial experience at Senior Engineer level
- Expert-level JavaScript proficiency
- Advanced knowledge of Node.js and React frameworks
- Proficient Git version control usage
- Multi-level testing experience: unit, integration, and end-to-end
- Database and cloud environment hands-on experience
- CI/CD and automation familiarity
- Collaborative software development via pull requests and code reviews
- Proven agile environment delivery experience
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Professional English fluency
