We are currently looking for a remote Middle Python Software Engineer with 2+ years of Python experience and Zabbix expertise to join our team.

The customer is one of the largest banks of Russia, Central, and Eastern Europe providing a high level of customer experience and an ecosystem of convenient online services in different areas.

The main pool of tasks is associated with the organization of an integrated monitoring system for applied tasks.

Please note that even though you are applying for this position, you may be offered other projects to join within EPAM Anywhere.

Responsibilities

• Zabbix monitoring system configuration
• Development of scripts for collecting metrics from network devices, servers and information systems for Zabbix
• Setting up Dashboards (in Grafana)

Requirements

• 2+ years of Python development experience (scripting)
• Knowledge of the architecture and principles of the monitoring system Zabbix
• Experience with Zabbix (setting items, complex triggers, using LLD)
• Experience in integrating with external systems using Zabbix API
• Experience with Grafana (setting up complex dashboards, using variables and repeat panel)
• Experience with DBMS (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and skills in writing SQL-queries
