Job Description:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Data Engineer to join our growing data team. You will design, build, and maintain the data infrastructure powering our operations and insights. You’ll collaborate with various departments to deliver scalable and high-quality data solutions, ensuring data is reliable, accessible, and actionable.


What You'll Be Doing:

  • Design, implement, and manage ELT pipelines using Fivetran, Airbyte, and AWS Lambdas
  • Develop and maintain dbt models for clean and reliable data transformations
  • Build reverse ETL workflows with Hightouch to sync data to downstream tools like Braze
  • Manage our CDP (Segment) and product analytics setup (Amplitude)
  • Support analytics team by ensuring access to clean and transformed data in Looker
  • Implement data quality tests, monitoring, and alerting mechanisms
  • Troubleshoot pipeline issues and maintain system reliability
  • Continuously evaluate and improve our data stack for scalability and performance

Tech Stack:
Fivetran, Airbyte, AWS (Lambda), dbt, Hightouch, Segment, Amplitude, Looker, SQL, Python


Position Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role
  • Expertise in dbt and data modeling best practices
  • Proficient in SQL and Python
  • Experience with modern ELT tools (e.g. Fivetran, Airbyte)
  • Hands-on experience with BI tools (preferably Looker)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Ownership mindset and problem-solving skills
  • Focus on writing testable, maintainable, and scalable code

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with reverse ETL tools like Hightouch
  • Familiarity with CDPs such as Segment
  • Knowledge of product analytics tools like Amplitude
  • Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
  • Familiarity with orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster, Prefect)
  • Experience working in agile development environments
