Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to build and scale production backend systems for FAR Labs. In this role, you will own backend services and APIs, work on system architecture and performance, integrate with AI/inference infrastructure, and actively contribute to technical decisions.

• Go, TypeScript/Node.js, Python
• PostgreSQL, Redis/Valkey
• REST, gRPC, SSE/WebSockets
• AWS, Docker, GitLab CI/CD
• Auth0/JWT

Position Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in backend engineering
• Strong proficiency in Go and/or TypeScript/Node.js
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL and Redis/Valkey
• Deep understanding of REST/gRPC and distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong understanding of scalability, performance, and reliability
• High level of ownership and the ability to work independently
• Experience with AI/ML infrastructure or high-load systems is a plus
