You’ll be part of launching a new major revenue stream based on our data products for external partners. You’ll be supported by an experienced leadership team and work together on this exciting, new project.

A lot of these partners use the Distribution Whitelabel that offers different types of experiences to the Retailer’s end-customers. From a search experience over to the checkout up to the confirmation including confirmation emails and ticketing – all of it developed, managed and maintained by Distribusion.  
That does not only include the development but also all the flows connected to a Checkout experience such as cash collection, fraud management, risk management, tracking of page and end-customer performance matrix etc.

Job description:
Fullstack Ruby Software Engineer.

What you’ll do:
• Develop new features for our web application and be the main contributor to improving usability, increasing conversion and reducing page load time as well as errors for key players in the travel industry;
• Work with Ruby, Rails, Docker, Prometheus, Grafana, GCP, Kubernetes and Kafka;
• Partake in development of existing and new products to enable predictive maintenance, infinite scalability, auto-resolution of issues, increased speed, data standardisation and much more;
• Serve as a technology contributor for our architecture;
• Work on expanding QA automation;
• Work with a remote-first team in a rapidly growing environment.

Position requirements:
• You have at least 3 years of experience as a Full-Stack Developer;
• You enjoy working on developing scalable backend solutions as much as developing user friendly UIs;
• You know and can apply best practises when relevant;
• You’re hungry for a challenge and don’t mind sharing out of the box ideas;
• You’re a strong communicator;
• You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment;
• You’re looking to shape a growing team and a rapidly growing product;
• Ideally you worked with whitelabel solutions, checkouts, PSPs and/ or frontend feature development before. Either as part of an E-commerce company or within a relevant project in your career.

Working conditions:
• Work schedule is flexible, and for people outside of Germany we offer a freelance contract where developers receive the gross pay and then they pay their own taxes, whilst for people inside Germany we offer a full-time employment contract;
