Job description:
The company is looking for Middle/Senior Full-stack Engineer (React, Node.js).
An ideal candidate should have expert level engineering experience across a range of tools and technologies in Node.js and React.js ecosystem.
What the role involves:
- Technically design, implement and full-stack support for web based SaaS LegalTech application;
- Heavy involvement in engineering decisions making process: design software architecture, development and operation processes, tools and practices;
- Initial steps: implement crucial parts of the backend/frontend and helm team eliminate technical debt;
- Processing large volumes of security-sensitive data and constantly improving the look and feel of the product.
Our tech stack:
- Database management systems: PostgreSQL, Redis;
- Front-end: React, GraphQL Apollo;
- Back-end: Node.js, Typescript, AWS, Docker, Terraform, Serverless;
- Tools: Git / Github.
Position requirements:
• 3+ recent years of Node.js/React.js full-stack development;
• 5+ years of software development overall;
• Expert level engineering experience across a range of tools and technologies in Node.js ecosystem like, but not limited to: Node.js platform specifics, web technologies (REST, GraphQL), RDBMS (PostgreSQL), ORMs (TypeORM);
• Significant experience working with modern clouds, specifically AWS. Understanding, selection, pros/cons, pricing/volume models and use cases of different AWS products;
• Wide area of knowledge in modern tools and technologies, ability to idiomatically select databases, data storages, data integration/ETL/processing technologies, etc;
• Experience with modern development tools, services and processes like Git, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), DevOps (Terraform), DevSecOps, SDLC overall etc;
• Experience working with Linux command-line;
• Ability to work with limited information, self-motivation, passion for development problem solving and continuous improvement of processes;
• Hands-on engineering experience in frontend web stack like ReactJS, CSS, HTML, etc.
Working conditions:
• The schedule is flexible. It is important to cross paths with the team for at least 5 hours during the main working hours from 9 to 18 in Berlin;
• Salary revision is possible every 6 months;
• The size of the official salary corresponds to the salary. The candidate receives a PO in his hands, but paying taxes in the country of residence remains in his duties. The tax in Germany is paid by the company for each candidate;
• Partial coverage of travel expenses is possible (every year most of the team gathers in different countries to work together and spend time);
• Consulting contract (sole proprietor, individual, self-employed);
• Relocation (partially paid by the company), each case is discussed individually after 6 months of work;
