Job description:
Head of Development.

A new product that needs to develop: Analytical platform that allows both private clients and retail customers on the basis of big data, pricing, marketing. The platform can be used by partners who can create their own solution and sell it to end users and partners. 8-9 people in direct reporting. Inlu team of 20 people

Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of developers, ensuring high-quality code, adherence to best practices, and timely delivery of projects.  
- Oversee the development and maintenance of our technology stack, including but not limited to Vue 2.7 (with a future transition to Vue 3), Rust for our analytical server, and our new API built with TypeScript, NodeJS 18, Apollo Server, and Express.  
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and improvements.  
- Drive the architecture and design of scalable analytical platforms and enterprise solutions.  
- Ensure the seamless operation of our microservices, primarily developed in Python and Jupyter.  
- Oversee the deployment of our cluster using microk8s and Docker.  
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices to ensure our technology remains cutting-edge.  
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, both technical and non-technical, to ensure alignment and meet business objectives

Position requirements:
• Proven experience in building scalable analytical platforms and enterprise solutions.  
• Strong proficiency in our technology stack, especially Vue, Rust, TypeScript, NodeJS, Apollo Server, Express, Python, and Jupyter.  
• Solid experience with microk8s and Docker for cluster deployment.  
• Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of leading and growing strong development teams.  
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.  
• Strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to think strategically and act tactically.  
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred

This role demands a strategic thinker who can also dive deep into technical details, ensuring our platforms and services are robust, efficient, and future-proof.
